This is Red Canyon, a nice little stop between Highway 89 and Bryce Canyon
National Park. I pass through here all the time for work, and I can't begin
to count how many times I've been through here during the ten years of my
life I spent 50 miles down Highway 12 in Escalante.
I have heard that many tourists who are not so well versed in the English
language stop here, take lots of photos, and head back south on Highway 89
to Zion NP thinking that Red Canyon WAS Bryce Canyon NP. It is a beautiful
spot, but does not really compare to Bryce.
There was a bit of snow int the air today. A lovely scene if I do say so
myself.
