Sadly this is the only pic I took all day - the empty side of the couch
where Joe usually sits. It feels very strange not to have him here beside
me.

Took this picture of Joe tonight. It's not the best but he is leaving
tomorrow to spend a week at the farm and I am already missing him. We
haven't gone a day without seeing each other since we started living
together 4 years ago.

I had to leave the house at 5:30 this morning for work. I rarely wake up
that early. I didn't get home until 4:00pm. It was a very long day. This is
me. While posting PS photos. You guys keep me going at times :)

Trying to grow my hair out again. Makes for some interesting bedhead.

I love photographing Joe when he's not watching. Notice how intent he is on
that ipad? He takes his gaming seriously.

Took Amtrak from Cleveland to NYC. Really enjoyed the ride! This I believe
was in Rochester, NY.

Newly added office decoration. What am I going to do this summer without
the students who work with me in my office???

I had a couple hours to kill this afternoon waiting for some blueprints, so
I walked around this cool old cemetary.

My photo submission for Envisage365 NOT JUST A GIVEAWAY!

My caption reads:
Every person should feel comfortable in their own skin, no matter what size
or shape you are. As I sit here and ponder, my self image is the furthest
thing from my mind.

Sorting through boxes to find stuff to fill the utility trailer. Found a
bunch of old pics of Neal (wearing shades) back in the day. This one has to
be mid-80s, when he was in the Coast Guard, when I first met him. He would
have been in his late 20s/early 30s. It broke my heart to see him so young.
I think he's beautiful. I can't imagine ever again being attracted to anyone
as much as I am to him.

Three story rowhomes that caught my eye today on a street in the historic
germantown section of the city.

a poem about my exciting saturday night.

the whole place blazes with wavering heat,
and the overpowering smell of dryer sheets.
to wash my comforter cost ten bucks,
man, the laundromat really sucks.

I knew when I put these trouser socks on this morning they were too big but
I was too lazy to put on a new pair. So of course I spent the entire day
pulling them up. By the end of the day I just gave up.

Went to a Ladies Garage Party where I got to practice lifting a fallen bike,
and then fell down on one (not part of the show) trying out different bikes,
and checkin' out accessories. I see some lessons in my future!

Audrey's 2! I can't believe how time just flies by. Happy 2nd birthday to
my baby girl!
