Who knew I'd be so emotional to end the semester? As part of the "final" for the class I teach, we discuss showing gratitude for the people who've helped us get through the semester. Totally unexpectedly, a few students wrote notes saying some of the most meaningful things students have EVER said to me today. And, one student gave me a thank-you monkey. I spent
half the day with tears in my eyes (in the best possible way). Really cool group of students I've had the chance to know this fall.
