Today I decided to make and can applesauce for the first time ever by myself. It went pretty well until I sneezed while peeling apples with a paring knife… Then Eddie helped me finish peeling them because I was a thumb down and it made the process more awkward. He also was awesome and did all the dishes while my thumb was wrapped up.

I did ultimately turn about 13-14 lbs of apples into just over 7 pints of applesauce for winter!
