We went to a friend's house to celebrate their birthday the day before and knowing that a lot of people were attending, I brought my own bed. As it turned out, Rachel and I were the only visitors who stayed the night, which meant the air mattress I blew up an hour or two before wasn't necessary.

Oops. Like Kirsten said better to be prepared. You know that if you wouldn't have brought a bed everyone would have decided to stay over.
