One of the activities at the "final" for the class I teach (no real test)
is having students write out little "appreciation" cards to two people who
made a difference in their semester. Sometimes I get one or two generic
ones... This year I got three of the most meaningful ones ever. This was
one. THIS is what makes my job worthwhile on all those days when I want to
give up. :) (I got one later in the week that brought tears to my eyes--I
guess sometimes I DO make a difference...)
