Trip is sadly winding down. I played golf again today while Jean and B hung out. Monarch Beach Resort was recommended to me by one of B’s associates as a ‘Poor Man’s’ Pebble Beach. I don’t know if Pebble ruined me for other courses or not… It was a great course with a solid layout and one hole - this hole - near the ocean, but I just found it lacking…..

Had you not just played Pebble, it may have seemed just a bit better. But after something like that, it would be hard to beat it.
