Saw more amazing things today, and discovered that San Luis Obispo is somewhere that we could easily live someday. This spot is nearby, and a bit more eclectic. This is the Copper Cafe at the Madonna Inn. Google this place if you have not heard of it before. Loads of themed rooms to stay in - the amenities grid cracked me up - besides the normal bed size and room rate, there were columns for Rock Shower, Waterfall, Balcony, and Fireplace. I had a HUGE piece of Toffee Cake and coffee, Jean had tea and a chocolate chip cookie. A great little stop.
