Today was double the cause for unity in my family as it was Good Friday AND
we officially received the positive decision from our family trip downtown.
For a number of years my family has normally gone out for fish fry on Good
Friday together,even sometimes with close family friends. Especially since
my religious grandmother died two years ago, my family hasn't been too big
on Easter and today become more of a family day than Easter itself. This
year I made it a priority to leave Chicago early to make sure that I
arrived back home in time for our outing and spend some time with the
family.
