got moved to a new desk. no windows. out in the open with no privacy or
noise barriers. i'm distracted by people constantly walking by, the noise
from everyone out here, and gods dammit, the next person who makes popcorn
in the microwave in the kitchen less than 15 ft away will die.
i miss the view. :(

Ask about moving due to the distractions which are making it difficult to stay on task.
Cubicle life is tough. It's not popcorn in my office but the smell of curry or hot dogs and sauerkraut at 8:30 in the morning.
Ugh. That is miserable. I wouldn't be able to get anything done. We've had a mystery popcorn burner lately, and it has made me rageful.
