Went back to the Artists Quarter tonight for the first time in a while. I was good to be back, and good to see this man Guante, my first time here I saw him, (youtube this man now, I'll wait........) and a few others and I was instantly hooked! Tonight there was some great poems, but over all the performances were just ok, I wasn't WOWED ya know?!? Makes me want to hurry up and get back to writing!
Also tonight is the last night I will see my dear friend Jecka before she goes back to CT. On a plus side we went to Mickey's Diner and SMASHED on some classic diner food!
