With my job, I'm fortunate enough some times to get to revisit some of the
places and people that I used to work with when I was teaching. Today I was
fortunate enough to go back to Hurricane High School (colloquially
pronounced hurr-i-kin) to work on some test data analysis with the principal
and counselor. I saw many of the great folks that I worked with 7 years ago
- I'm amazed at the lack of turnover at this school. The only people that I
didn't know when I was there that I saw today was the principal and
counselor...
They are adding on to the school. Construction is well underway, and it
should be ready to go for the start of school one year from now. I can't
wait to see it.
