Jean and I got a wild hair somewhere and have decided that it's time to
'Grow Up' and get rid of the random, bachelor-pad-ish furnishings in our
house and make it look all adult-like. We found a system and finish that we
loved at Ikea and made the quick trip up and back to Salt Lake for the haul.
This is our two flat-bed carts with the 600 pound, 50+ boxes of
entertainment center, coffee table, end tables, and some assorted
decorations and lighting fixtures that we will be assembling and installing
in the next few days. It all fit in Jean's Escape with ease - but we had to
put the two 6' long boxes on the roof.
The bad news is that the most crucial piece of gear that we need to finish
the entertainment center this weekend is out of stock and we won't have it
for 10 days or so. It's the rails that tie into the studs in the wall to
hang some cabinets from... Boo.
