I taught a Digital Photography Basics & Beyond class today for some
industrious teachers who DARE to continue their learning in the summertime
(in spite of what the Tea Partiers want you to believe, MOST teachers take
time in the summer for this sort of thing).
I have them go outside and take pictures of inanimate objects, which they
usually think is crazy, and then we come back in and discuss 10 different
strategies to make a plain looking picture look more interesting. This was
one of my examples of how even a picture of a tree in front of a school can
still be pleasing to the eye.
It was a great class!
