While my ring is at the jeweler's getting molded so my wedding band fits all
nice and purdy alongside it, I've been wearing my mom's old opal ring that
her dad bought her about 30 years ago. The opal set in there now is the
third one to be in the ring... and she's now getting that one replaced.

This one is sort of cloudy... which is why we are getting a new one with more fire. :)

The Crackle nail polish.
You put down a layer of regular polish, then a layer of crackle on top of it (and you put this layer on the exact same way you do the first layer) and then it magically crackles because of some special something or other in the crackle formula.
