Today was my church's annual Campground Festival. The church was built on an
old campground where people used to meet to hear the traveling minister,
camp together, etc. Today's was the end of the yearlong celebration of my
church's 175th anniversary/birthday/whatever you want to call it... those
who volunteered were encouraged to either buy a purple shirt that stated it
was the 175th anniversary and it was the CGF, etc.... OR they could dress in
period clothing from sometime in the past 175 years. The picture on the left
is those of us who dressed up in an old fashioned carriage. The picture on
the right is me... as a pirate. :-D
