More WTF in the new/old house: This is looking down into the front foyer
from the second floor. First, the brass'n'glass thing has got to go.
Secondly, they didn't even pretend to finish this piece of plywood that
covers the top of the front closet. Wouldn't be so bad, except you can see
it from the top of the stairs and from the decorative window in the master
bedroom. Also, that is where the furnace filter is so I have to pull out a
ladder every time it needs changing.
I can make it look better but unfortunately I can't move the furnace air
intake. :/
