Not too many photos today sine we were transitioning from London to
Manchester. In planning for the trip, we knew that we'd be getting around
quite a bit by BritRail, so we bought open ended passes. We just enter the
date we are traveling, and we can ride any train in the UK (with the
exception of those heading to Ireland) for the whole day.

I splurged (just a little) and got us First Class passes. LOTS of room, and
we had more beverage and food offered to us on a two hour train ride than we
did on the entire flight over. It was a lovely trip today, and we are headed
for Liverpool tomorrow.
