After 4 months of a tank looking like complete SHIT I finally did what I was
dreading. Completely tearing it down and cleaning it. If you don't know much
about tanks they need to be setup over a time period to make the water
conditions right. That means getting just enough waste under the rocks to
keep the water consistent. sounds weird but once you do this and keep up
with general cleaning your tank will stay crystal clear. Well I cleaned it
to well one day many month ago and left the light on to long and it has been
nothing but Dark green since. Thats with doing partial water changed weekly.
Its nice to finally SEE my fish again! They seem pretty happy to see as
well :)
