This is a Poetry Slam, the St. Paul Soap-boxing poetry slam to be exact.
They are the National Champions two years running! (to win nationals two
years in a row is almost unheard of!). Next month we will find out who makes
the team to go to the 22nd Annual National Poetry Slam held in Boston (I
SOOOO Wanna gooo!!!).
I FINALLY FINALLY started writing an actual slam poem. I'm very excited, and
proud of how it's coming to life so far. No where NEAR done, but it's
started, and for me that's the hardest part of writing. Hopefully I will
have it fine tuned and stage ready before the next season kicks off in
September.
