Working today to finish a major systems upgrade/cutover that has been
almost three years in the making. It has been the source of tears and
frustration and caused me to lose years off my life (years that I could ill
afford to lose). Just me, two other women and two guys at the end of a
phone line (one in California who got up at 6am at help us and one in
Kentucky whose 13 year-old twin boys with brand new iPads kept stealing his
Internet). We celebrated and the pop of that champagne cork was a joyous
sound. We broke all the rules and drank it right in the office. Just one
tip: if you can't really handle your liquor on a normal day, do not drink
champagne on an empty stomach and expect to stand up any time soon. :)

Way to go! Bet that champagne tasted so good, even if it did knock you off your feet a little.
