Found this in an old box recently given to me by my mother. This is a sugar bowl, or something like it, that I found nestled amongst my late grandmother’s glass bowls and serving platters. Inside was a tiny plastic Sweet 'N Low spoon and a note written by my great aunt, with an explanation of the original owner and a list of everyone to whom it had been passed down. The note ended, “and now to you.” The note itself was written 25 years ago. I love that something so small and simple can be traced back five generations.
