This is the place that I have wanted to visit since I was a little kid just
learning to lay and love the game of Golf. You can see the first hole and
18th green of the Royal & Ancient Course at St. Andrews in Scotland.
I would have loved to play, but it is EXTREMELY difficult to get a tee time,
and I started to try way too late. I could have taken my chances in the
lottery, but I didn't want to trade the chance to play for two full days of
vacation.
I loved just visiting anyway. I could have stood there all day - just
soaking it all in, but I promised Jean that I'd be back to Edinburg by Noon
to see the sights there.
