Note I received from one of the college Deans today after meeting with him
and his department chairs last week. It was a tense meeting where they
aired a lot of concerns and frustrations. I felt good leaving the
meeting--felt like I learned a lot and that THEY felt better having shared
their concerns. Thrilled to have received this. Makes me feel good to know
I was well-received and that they're on board with what my program is doing.
Sweet! Feels awesome.

in my clueless, thickness, i read the note and could only think of physical chairs, not chairpersons. i was cracking up at myself when i realized what he was talking about.
