Since the first graduating class 150 years ago, the senior class has always
hidden a rum cake on campus for the next class to find. Today, members of my
graduating class dug up the "cake" from last year - the cake was shoved in
an empty rum bottle. Here we are with our "rum cake!" When the tradition
started, it was customary that if the class found the cake, the graduates of
the year before would come back and throw them a party... and if they didn't
find it, the current seniors would throw the graduates a party. Since we
found the cake, we want to reinstate the party tradition!

sounds like an awesome tradition. out of the whole senior class, are you the only ones who went looking? or are you just the lucky ones who found the rum cake?
Both. Two people figured it out, and we all went digging for it because we're the people that showed up to do it.
I didn't actually dig because I didn't feel good - so I took all the other pictures. :)
