I was dressed up all nice with a shirt, tie, and dress pants but it was really starting to snow and I had to walk to class do I thought it'd be best to put on my boots as I left the house following lunch. Yes, my boots are brown and I'm wearing a mostly black outfit.

The moment after taking this photo I received a text from my boss telling me to stay home because everyone was being sent home early. :-)

    For some reason, I'm totally neurotic all day long if I feel like my pants/socks/shoes don't "go". It's ok if I wear socks that are TOTALLY off-the-wall. But if I'm trying to get colors close and they're a little off, I'm obsessed all day. I'd have been crazy.

    Socks don't bother me too much because they refuse to stay the correct shade of black.

    I think in winter all fashion rules fly out the door. Great that you got to stay home.
