It is pretty pathetic (okay, maybe not pathetic, but definitely sad) that I
am in my 30s and still filling out FAFSA forms.

    Don't feel too bad. At least you're filling them out :)

    I'm 21 and my dad still fills them out for me. :-/

    That isnt something that should be viewed as sad or pathetic. Your going/going to back to school to hopefully better yourself! Wear that with pride!

    I totally agree with Jon, if you want more education and you're not independently wealthy, you pretty much have to fill out a FAFSA, no matter how old or young you are.
