That isnt something that should be viewed as sad or pathetic. Your going/going to back to school to hopefully better yourself! Wear that with pride!
I totally agree with Jon, if you want more education and you're not independently wealthy, you pretty much have to fill out a FAFSA, no matter how old or young you are.
